Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly for this category C entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Electrical authorisation (habilitation électrique).
- Cleaning techniques and use of a scrubber-dryer.
- Checking and maintaining sports equipment, green spaces and synthetic turf.
- Good relations with the public and associations.
- Organised, rigorous and independent.
- Available and a good team player.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website. You can also send your CV and cover letter by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Service housing provided for absolute service need.
- Hours Monday to Friday, with one weekend on call out of two.
- Training possible in first aid and fire safety.
- Duty of discretion (devoir de réserve) required.
