The profile they look for:
- Basic knowledge of electrical and ventilation upkeep
- Knowledge of safety rules in public buildings (ERP)
- Good physical fitness for carrying loads
- Ability to take initiative and sense of responsibility
- Good people skills and availability
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Wide working hours with evening and weekend work
- Works alone or in a team, mostly in the facilities and outdoors
- Occasional extra help based on seasonal needs of the technical services
- Full-time annualised hours, with 1 hour of sport per week (Sport pour Tous)
