Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly at an entry grade of category C: adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal 2nd or 1st class.
Category: Category C (staff)

- Organise a work site with several workers.
- Estimate the quantities of materials needed.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website. Send your CV and cover letter to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
