The job is open to civil servants and contract agents. A person who has not passed a public competition can be hired directly, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: Training in roads, utility networks, civil engineering or plumbing
The profile they look for:
- Training in roads, networks, civil engineering or plumbing.
- Aware of work site safety rules.
- Organised and rigorous, able to work on your own.
- Physically able to carry heavy loads.
- Good relations with service users.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- On-call duty 4 to 5 times a year.
