Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Master plumbing techniques.
- Be able to diagnose faults and problems.
- Be able to size sanitary installations and write quotes.
- Be versatile and able to work as a team.
- Know the standards, hygiene and safety rules.
- Driving licence B and fluids certificate (fluides frigorigènes).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 31 (Closes in 61 days)
Apply on the employer's website named in the offer. You can also send your file by post or by email, as stated in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- For civil servants, the file is incomplete without the last 3 evaluation forms.
- The job is vacant from 1 February 2027.
- A driving licence B is required.
