Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Catering diploma required.
- Knowledge of the PMS and the HACCP method.
- Able to read a maintenance manual and safety instructions.
- Good physical fitness, especially for lifting heavy loads.
- Initiative, punctuality and availability.
- Team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Position vacant from 1 November 2026.
- Remote work not possible.
- May need to work beyond normal hours, for example during peak activity.
- May be assigned to another facility during school holidays.
