Diploma: Bac+3 minimum in engineering sciences (mechanical, process or electrical engineering, etc.), or significant teaching or industry experience.
Experience: Beginners accepted. A first teaching experience is a plus.
The profile they look for:
- Bac+3 minimum in engineering sciences, or significant teaching or industry experience.
- Skills in mechanical engineering and modelling software such as SolidWorks.
- Able to teach theory and practice clearly at baccalauréat level.
- Good listening, communication and teamwork skills.
- Rigour, autonomy and good organisation.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- After 6 years of continuous service, a permanent contract (CDI) can be offered.
- After 3 years of public service, an internal competition is possible.
