Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. The required French level is independent user.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Bac+2 preferred, or 5 years of experience.
Experience: Experienced candidates.
The profile they look for:
- Bac+2 preferred, or 5 years of experience.
- Diplomas required to register for the external CAPLP competitive exam.
- Know construction principles and finishing trades well.
- Know safety standards and regulations.
- Able to work with teenagers and pass on knowledge.
- Rigorous, patient, teaching-minded and caring.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Teaching load of 18 hours per week, in person.
- Plan at least the same amount of time for lesson preparation.
- Extra teaching hours may be requested.
- Remote work is not possible.
