Open only to contract agents, not to civil servants. An independent level of French is required.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Master or equivalent degree (level 7)
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Master the French language as used in teaching.
- Master the school subjects and how to teach them.
- Build and lead lessons that suit the diversity of pupils.
- Organise the class so that pupils learn and socialise.
- Know well the programmes for collège and lycée.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
