Diploma: At least a degree in literature or a related subject
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Degree in literature or a related subject (history-geography for example)
- Good command of grammar and spelling
- Strong knowledge of literature
- Knowledge of collège and lycée French programmes, DNB and EAF exams
- Teaching methods for reading, writing, speaking and language
- Independent, organised and open to dialogue
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
