Civil servants of the local public service and contract staff can apply. The post is open at the grade of principal second class artistic teaching assistant.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Good piano playing skills and knowledge of the repertoire.
- Teaching adapted to each pupil or group.
- Running group classes.
- Sense of public service and kindness towards users.
- Taking part in the artistic season of the venue.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 29 (Closes today)
Send your application by email to the town hall, or by post. Write « Candidature au poste d'enseignant de piano » in the email subject line.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job only on Wednesdays.
- Part-time post, less than 50% of a full-time job.
- Remote work is not possible.
