- Hold electrical authorisations (habilitations électriques).
- Hold a diploma in electricity.
- Have a good technical level.
- Be methodical, rigorous and organised.
- Hold a category B driving licence.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- You may be called for exceptional tasks outside normal working hours.
- Work outdoors in all weather.
- Category B driving licence required. CACES Nacelle (aerial platform certificate) possibly required.
