Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEP, CAP or vocational bac in electrical work
The profile they look for:
- BEP, CAP or vocational bac in electrical work.
- Knowledge of safety rules on an electrical worksite.
- Holds a category B driving licence.
- Team spirit and a sense of public service.
- Able to work independently and report to management.
- Rigorous, available and good with people.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply through the employer's site from the offer page. You can also send your application by email to the town hall's human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Post vacant from 4 January 2027.
- On-call duty possible for emergency repairs.
- Category B driving licence required.
- Category C, senior technical assistant grades.
