2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- The job may require being available outside opening hours, with time off in lieu or allowances.
- Regular training, including for work authorisations (habilitations).
- Access by RER A and train from Paris Saint-Lazare (Cergy-Préfecture station).
