Civil servants (titulaires or seconded) and contract agents can apply. A candidate who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP electrician or equivalent
Experience: Experienced. Experience as a building electrician is a plus.
The profile they look for:
- CAP electrician or equivalent.
- Electrical safety certifications (habilitations électriques).
- Works independently, with initiative and good organisation.
- Able to spot and report faults.
- Driving licence B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Work inside and outside, in all weather.
- On-call duty possible on weekends and public holidays, paid.
- Weekly working time of 37h30.
- Remote work not possible.
