Civil servants of the local public service and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the entry-level category C grade allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know electrical regulations and site safety rules.
- Hold B1, H1, BR electrical authorisations.
- Hold a category B driving licence.
- Master maintenance techniques for electrical systems.
- Be rigorous and methodical.
- Be able to cope with prolonged physical effort.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
