Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A candidate who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP, BEP or vocational bac in building electrics, equipment electrics or electrotechnics
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B required
- Electrical authorisations H0-BR-BC-B1/B1V-B2/B2V
- CAP, BEP or vocational bac in electrical trades
- Knowledge of SDIS (fire service) appreciated
- Able to work in a team and alone
- Adaptable, with shifted hours possible in summer
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send a cover letter and CV by email to the departmental director of the fire and rescue service.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Post corresponds to group C2 of the RIFSEEP pay scheme
