Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP in building or industrial electricity
The profile they look for:
- CAP diploma in building or industrial electricity
- Very good knowledge of electrical rules for public buildings (ERP)
- Driving licence B required and electrical authorisation B2V BR BC – H0V
- Able to work at height and in confined spaces
- Works independently, is rigorous and works well in a team
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
