Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, at an entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of electricity and automation.
- Able to work at height and outdoors.
- High availability, especially during the winter operating season.
- Good working relationships with staff, managers and other departments.
- Electrical authorisation at level BR and HT.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your cover letter and CV as soon as possible, by post or by email to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Mostly fieldwork, with variable hours.
- Meal vouchers are 50% paid by the town.
- Employer contributes to health and disability insurance.
