Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the post is open at the entry grade of category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Diagnose faults in the equipment you are responsible for.
- Apply standards and techniques for installing materials and equipment.
- Detect and report malfunctions and damage.
- Report technical constraints and difficulties.
- Suggest preventive or corrective maintenance.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
