Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.

Diploma: BEP or Bac Pro in electrotechnics
The profile they look for:
- BEP or Bac Pro in electrotechnics.
- Knowledge of low-voltage electricity.
- Ability to work at height on a cherry picker.
- Knowledge of electrical work techniques on public land.
- Rigour, seriousness and respect for safety rules.
- Teamwork, autonomy and versatility.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, from the official offer. City civil servants send their application file by email to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
