Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant application succeeds. The post is open to the adjoint technique grades.

Diploma: CAP/BEP in building electricity at least
The profile they look for:
- CAP/BEP in building electricity at least.
- Electrical authorisations B2V, BR and BC required.
- Driving licence category B essential.
- Good knowledge of building electrical techniques and safety rules.
- Independence, public service mindset, availability and teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time, 40 hours per week, with RTT days off.
- On-call duty 24/7 one week per month, on a rota.
- Occasional work at height, and mandatory personal protective equipment.
- Category B driving licence needed; service vehicle for travel.
