Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Electrical safety certifications required (B2V Essai, BR, BC, BE, H0).
- Knowledge of safety standards and rules for public buildings (ERP).
- Ability to read plans and work sheets.
- Manual gearbox driving licence (permis B) required.
- First aid training recommended.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- On-call duty possible on weekends and public holidays.
- Manual gearbox driving licence (permis B) required.
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 17:00, Friday until 16:00.
