The profile they look for:
- Master the techniques of the electrician trade.
- Apply regulations and safety rules.
- Work well in a team and organise your work.
- Be autonomous, rigorous and punctual.
- Electrical authorisations up to date (lockout, works and low-voltage intervention).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
- Travel between sites using a service vehicle.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- No remote work. Working hours start times vary.
