Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

- Knowledge of ornamental tree care and pruning techniques
- Knowledge of tree species, diseases and pests
- Safety rules for working at height and using powered equipment
- Organised, independent and rigorous
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 1 (Closes in 3 days)
Apply by email to the town, as stated in the offer, or through the employer's website. Put the job title and the offer reference in the subject line.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Incomplete applications will not be processed.
- Work at height, outdoors in all weather, with lifting loads.
- Use of powered equipment such as the aerial platform and chainsaw.
- Occasional availability during town or weather events.
