Civil servants (titulaires) in category C can apply, as well as candidates from other sectors. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly for this post.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Level 3 diploma (CAP or BEP) in landscape work or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- Level 3 diploma (CAP or BEP) in landscape work or equivalent.
- Specialist certificate as tree surgeon (arboriste élagueur) or equivalent.
- Driving licence B and CACES certificates for platform lift and mini excavator.
- Knowledge of trees, tree diseases and pruning techniques.
- Knowledge of safety rules for working at height.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Driving licence B and CACES certificates for platform lift and mini excavator required.
- Occasional availability for city or weather events.
- Hours: 8:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:45 (16:00 on Fridays).
