Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.

The profile they look for:
- Category B driving licence required, trailer licence EB appreciated.
- Comfortable using IT tools and digital tablets.
- Sense of public service and a taste for dealing with the public.
- Good physical fitness.
- Enough eyesight without correction to work underground.
- Able to work in unhealthy and confined spaces.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time: 30h30 worked, 35h paid, Monday to Friday, alternating one week in two.
- On-call duty, work in unhealthy environments and in confined atmospheres.
- Daily travel in teams of 3.
