Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry-level category C grade allows direct recruitment.

The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B required; EB trailer licence appreciated.
- Comfortable using digital tablets.
- Public service mindset and taste for dealing with the public.
- Good physical fitness.
- Sufficient eyesight without correction.
- Able to work in unhealthy and confined environments.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time: 30h30 worked, paid 35h, Monday to Friday, alternating one week in two.
- Conditions: unhealthy environment, confined spaces and on-call duty.
- Daily travel in teams of three, depending on site assignment.
