Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The grades concerned are educateur des APS, principal educator of 2nd class and of 1st class.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: BP JEPS AAN required, and a valid CAEP MNS.
The profile they look for:
- Strictly apply safety rules and the Plan d'Organisation de la Surveillance et des Secours.
- Know the hygiene standards that apply to swimming pools.
- Have good people skills and teaching skills.
- Use computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email) at an intermediate or advanced level.
- Be rigorous and autonomous.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job with RTT (reduced working time days).
- Works one weekend in three, and evenings; one weekend in four from January 2027.
- Driving licence (permis B) essential.
- Fixed rest day on Sunday afternoon; public holidays not worked.
