Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry level in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: STAPS licence, BPJEPS (APT or climbing) or ETAPS. Also required: BSB, PSC1, BAFA.
The profile they look for:
- Sports degree (STAPS licence), BPJEPS APT or ETAPS, or BPJEPS climbing.
- Knowledge of teaching methods and tools.
- Skill in leading many different sports.
- Ability to adapt to groups aged 3 to 11.
- Good people skills, rigour and care for children's safety.
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 5 days)
Apply on the employer's website or from the official offer page. Send your cover letter and CV to the town hall, by post or by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Category C job, with no management duties.
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
- BSB, PSC1 and BAFA also required.
