Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Higher education in public finance, management, accounting, public law or equivalent
Experience: Proven experience in local public finance, ideally in a local authority. Management experience is an asset.
The profile they look for:
- Master the budget and accounting rules of local authorities.
- Master budget preparation and financial analysis.
- Good knowledge of local taxes, debt and grants.
- Able to lead a cross-team finance function and mobilise services.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Rigour, reliability and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
