Territorial engineers (ingénieur or ingénieur principal) can apply. If no civil servant applies, a contract agent with an equivalent level can be hired.

Diploma: Master's degree (bac+5) in environmental engineering or equivalent
Experience: At least 5 years in a management or steering role over technical services
The profile they look for:
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in environmental engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years managing or steering technical services.
- Knowledge of waste, ICPE regulations and workplace health and safety.
- Knowledge of public procurement and local authority law.
- Ability to report to the executive and make decisions.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
