Civil servants of the territorial public service and contract agents can apply. The grades concerned are Attaché, Attaché de conservation du patrimoine, Attaché principal and Attaché principal de conservation du patrimoine. A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant application succeeds.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
