Reserved for civil servants and laureates of a territorial competitive exam, at the grades of Commandant de SPP and Lieutenant-colonel de SPP. As an exception, recognised disabled candidates can apply by contract.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Higher education in information systems or management, or equivalent experience
Experience: Proven experience leading IT teams, ideally in the public sector
The profile they look for:
- Able to build and lead a strong team.
- Able to set priorities, make decisions and report on results.
- Understands information systems issues and how they change.
- Makes resilience and security of infrastructure a constant requirement.
- Knows public procurement and the territorial civil service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 8 (Closes in 40 days)
Send your application only by email, to the address given in the offer. Write « Directeur Systèmes d'Information » in the subject line and state your current grade.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Knowing the fire and rescue services is an asset, not a requirement.
