Category A civil servants in the grades Attaché, Attaché principal, Ingénieur or Ingénieur principal, and contract staff. Candidates recognised as disabled workers can apply through a contract.

Experience: Proven experience in an equivalent position
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of local public finance, public law and public procurement
- Good knowledge of the local government environment and how it works
- Embodies public service values
- Able to cooperate, discuss, arbitrate, decide and take responsibility
- Able to lead change methodically in a project culture
- Able to mobilise teams and partners
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website or on the emploi territorial site. You can also send your file by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
