Experience: Significant experience in a similar role in a local authority is wanted.
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of local authorities and the rules that apply to them.
- Command of local finance, human resources, project management and public law.
- Proven management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, judgement and diplomacy.
- Organised, responsive and proactive, with a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
