Open to civil servants and contract staff. Eligibility rules for civil servants are those of article 15 of decree no. 2023-1122, for category A staff.
Category: Category A (executive)
The profile they look for:
- Know the rules on the prison administration and the SPIP services well.
- Good knowledge of current criminal and judicial news.
- Able to manage staff, delegate and coordinate.
- Able to run projects from design to evaluation.
- Master the software used in SPIP services.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
No deadline given: the offer can be withdrawn at any time, do not wait.
Send your application by email to the general secretariat and to the prison administration directorate, at the addresses given in the official offer page. The file must include the documents asked for.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Applications must be sent within 30 days of the publication of the offer.
- Post governed by the special statute of prison administration civil servants.
- Post may be vacant from 1 October 2026.
- Management post, IFSE group IV.
