Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the ingénieur and ingénieur principal grades. A contract worker may be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Engineering degree (Bac +5) in civil engineering, public works, urban planning, or equivalent.
Experience: At least 5 years in a similar post in a local authority or a public works company. Experience in technical project management and team management.
The profile they look for:
- Solid knowledge of civil engineering, urban planning and public infrastructure.
- Good command of construction and environmental standards and rules.
- Project management and budget monitoring.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication with elected officials, services and partners.
- Commitment to public service and the general interest.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
