Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the post is open at entry-level category C grades.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BPJEPS Loisirs Tous Publics (LTP), or BPJEPS with CC-ACM, or else BAFD
Experience: Confirmed experience
The profile they look for:
- BPJEPS LTP diploma, or BPJEPS with CC-ACM, or BAFD as a fallback.
- Know the rules for group care of minors.
- Be able to keep children safe.
- Listen to and respect children.
- Be independent, organised, and able to report orally and in writing.
- Have basic computer skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 14 days)
Apply on the employer's website, through the official offer. You should also send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job with annualised hours.
- Remote work not possible.
- Supervises a team of leaders.
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
