Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- BAFA or equivalent
- Driving licence B recommended
- Knowledge of ALSH rules, hygiene and food safety rules
- Knowledge of child development and rhythms
- Ability to lead activities suited to children's age
- Sense of responsibility, active listening, kindness and teamwork
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
