Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP cooking, BEP cooking or vocational bac in catering (or higher diploma)
The profile they look for:
- Holds a CAP cooking, BEP cooking or vocational bac in catering, or a higher diploma.
- Solid training in traditional and mass catering cooking.
- Knows food hygiene rules and the HACCP method.
- Knows the nutritional needs of children.
- Rigorous, organised, good team spirit and public service mindset.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
