Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

- Master culinary techniques and cooking methods.
- Know food hygiene and safety rules.
- Manage stocks and use-by dates.
- Be rigorous and follow procedures.
- Be organised and able to work as a team.
- Have a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
