Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP cooking or BEP cooking, or bac pro catering (or a higher diploma)
The profile they look for:
- CAP cooking, BEP cooking, bac pro catering, or a higher diploma.
- Solid training in traditional and institutional cooking.
- Strictly follow hygiene and safety rules (HACCP).
- Master cooking and cleaning techniques.
- Be autonomous, rigorous and well organised.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
