Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it. People recognised as disabled workers can also apply under a contract.

Diploma: CAP or BEP in cooking
Experience: Confirmed experience
The profile they look for:
- Master cooking techniques
- Apply food hygiene and safety rules
- Know and apply the PMS plan
- Work well in a team
- Follow technical and safety instructions
- Keep the service running if the head cook is absent
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes in 2 days)
Apply on the employer's website, through the offer published on Choisir le Service Public. The CV and cover letter are required.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
