Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Civil servants must be able to request leave for personal reasons (mise en disponibilité). Secondments and transfers are not possible.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: CAP, BEP, vocational Bac in cooking, or equivalent
Experience: Experience in fine dining, institutional or event catering. Experience with cocktails and buffets is a plus.
The profile they look for:
- Good command of classic and modern cooking techniques.
- Cooking training (CAP, BEP, vocational Bac or equivalent).
- Experience in fine dining, institutional or event catering.
- Rigour, organisation, autonomy and sense of responsibility.
- Complete discretion and political neutrality.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Complete discretion and political neutrality required.
- Recruitment of contract staff authorised by the Collège des Questeures.
