Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it. Disabled workers can also get the job through a contract.

The profile they look for:
- Be rigorous and organised.
- Know cooking techniques and catering products and equipment.
- Meet food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Have good people skills and enjoy teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 15 days)
Apply on the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region website, sending your CV and cover letter. You go through the employer site linked from the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
