Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in hotel and catering
The profile they look for:
- Hold a CAP or BEP in hotel and catering.
- Master cooking techniques and HACCP food safety rules.
- Know the nutritional needs of young children.
- Work well in a team and react quickly.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply before 15 November 2026 on the employer's website or on the official offer page. You can also send your application electronically to the HR department of the CCAS.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working conditions: standing for long periods, frequent lifting of loads, hot and stuffy air in the washing-up area.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Grades open: adjoint technique or agent de maîtrise (category C).
