Open to civil servants and contract staff. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant application succeeds.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Design menus and estimate costs.
- Respect deadlines for preparing dishes.
- Lead, motivate and train the kitchen team.
- Apply hygiene and safety rules (HACCP).
- Plan restocking needs.
- Use computer tools, including the Webgerest software.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website or send a handwritten application and detailed CV to the departmental Human Resources Department, by post or by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
