Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEP or CAP in catering, HACCP training and PMS training
The profile they look for:
- BEP or CAP in catering (restauration)
- HACCP and PMS training
- Able to design meals suited to residents
- Able to manage food and purchases
- Punctual, good listener, independent and rigorous
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
