Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: CAP, BEP or vocational bac in collective catering
The profile they look for:
- CAP, BEP or vocational bac in catering in collective settings.
- Knowledge of collective catering techniques, in a geriatric setting.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety rules and the HACCP method.
- Ability to organise and handle several tasks at once.
- Team spirit, rigour and kindness towards residents.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C job, no management duties.
- Grades offered are adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal 2nd or 1st class.
